My father, Bob Osiecki, would be happy to see your efforts to recognize the contributions these men made to the sport back before it became the corporate and financial success it is today. Back when it was mostly one man or a small group of people doing what they enjoyed. Good luck in your efforts.

Harold Denton was a wild. No one who ever witnessed him driving the famed Mustang "Bad Thang" will ever forget him or the Mustang. Very deserving award for a gentleman with class and skills.

I had the pleasure of disqualifying Sonny Shipmon driving someone elses car one night. He was very displeased, to say the least. Found out later the owner of the car lied to him about displacement, found me and apologized. What a fine gentleman he was.
